In the back of the dusty ancient classroom, a young woman in a denim jacket is sitting at a table and writing with a black pen. Her shoulder-length brown hair is pulled back in a gentle bun, and her head is cocked to one side as she concentrates on her writing. Suddenly, she stops, looks up and then stares into space for several moments. Then she leans forward and seems to reach under the table. There is the sound of an unseen zipper being opened, and then a few seconds later, being closed again. She sits back up and pushes a strand of hair behind her left ear, and the golden earring hanging there flashes in the dim classroom. Her pen clicks, she turns the paper over, and resumes writing. Outside in the courtyard, a pigeon coos softly.
